The Blended Teacher Network provides me with the ability to network with other teachers who are learning about how to best implement blended learning in the classroom – my teaching improves every time I listen to another webinar or participate in one of the online forums.
Blended learning is a formal education program in which students have some control over the time, place, path, and/or pace of their learning, combining varied modalities to provide an integrated learning experience. For blended learning to be efficient and effective, the teacher is the key. Being a blended learning teacher takes a very complex set of skills that involve the teacher, the student and the content.
